Brighton finished 20th last year, when they came to Elland Road they were very good, one of the better performances in my opinion. That suggests to me they were very inconsistent and not the best at scoring with the Liverpool loanee Teixeira (6) being the top league scorer… Centre back Lewis Dunk being overall top scorer with 7.. and he is rumoured with a move away. Brighton have spent £1m on Striker Tomer Hemed and a few other undisclosed transfers of players from around Europe including Jack Harper from the Real Madrid youth system. I don’t have much knowledge of any of the players Brighton have brought in, but I think Chris Houghton needs to start getting the best out of experienced championship players like Makai-Smith, Gordon Greer, Kemmy Augusine & Andrew Crofts. Prediction 16th – 24th

PS: I thought Leeds were one of the betetr clubs to come to the Amex last season. They played to play football and did not sit back and defend (whether by tactics or default). One of the more attractive teams to watch especially as we won.

The Leeds team we faced at Elland Road were gash.

Clearly has been written by someone to rival perseus for footballing knowledge. Not much knowledge of players brought in, lists 2 players who we've released and 1 who has been injured since Hughton took over as players he needs to get the best out of. What a poorly researched load of bollocks, if you are going to go to the effort of writing a preview of a side at least put the effort in on the research first.

My Birmingham City supporting mate reckons we're one the big boys like Blues will fear this season. He knows Hughton from his time there and said he made a silk purse out of a sews ear there and now he's bedded in reckons we'll be challenging for the playoffs.

Should imagine we're seen as a pushover.

Agreed, when looking at where they'll get points I suggest we are one of the six pointers the better financed teams will expect in their promotion push. We might surprise a few with 0-0 draws.

I do wonder why now they are a massive Prem League side, why it is so important to them how we are going on. I would have thought now they would be striking up a rivalry with West Ham, Spurs and Watford. I can understand them staying away from Chelsea and Arsenal as there is no contest there.
