In a pile of football shirts
Just read this piece about disgruntled Newcastle fans boycotting the Ashley/Sports Direct/Wonga stranglehold, they've produced their own 'replica' shirts using an Adidas template shirt and their own embroidery.

Naturally they will be banned from entering the ground

Would they have any grounds to just ban shirts? Or is it a "their house, their rules" scenario.

Great work in that article.

"The shirt sells for £28, almost half the £49.99 price of the official replica garment"

:dunce:
I get your point, but they're not actually wrong are they.

I'm not convinced by their business model, selling shirts to a group of people who don't wear shirts.

Fine when you've got a beef with the owner as a section of the Newcastle fans clearly do, in reality it's just preventing the club earning money.

Have to say that any shirt without a sponsor name sprawled across the front has to be a winner.
