Some classic 'Pet' for all the wrong reasons after Gary Holtman ended up 'brown' from a morphine overdose and they had this ridiculous stand in bloke who physically looked nothing like Holtman and would keep his back to camera and they overdubbed Holtman's voice onto the scenes as if it was this bloke talking.

This, along with anything Shane Meadows comes within 50ft of, are simply sublime. Impeccable viewing.

Sacrilege to say it Monolulu, but while This is England the film was a cracking watch, the rest of the 'This is England' stuff I find really cringeworthy and hamstrung by too many poor actors, the whole series riding the wave of Fred Perry asthetic nostalgia more than being quality drama. Meadows has done some fantastic work - Dead Man's Shoes and Made of Stone are exceptional and Paddy Considine again does the business for him in the less fantastic A Room for Romeo Brass, but the This is England spin offs - nah.

Bit extreme, ok it was a bit odd that he was never "indoors" (in Spain) but I can only recall one scene with a stand in and that was in the bar when Bomber lifted him above his head, although that was pretty shite.
