Sussex could be at thome to Lancashire, assuming Glamorgan do not improve their net run rate by a huge margin. Likely to be 12th or 13th August.

Lancs finished fourth in the north group, so will play Kent. We play Northamptonshire as Glamorgan can't overhaul our run rate.

We apparently will play Lancashire as Kent have a fixture 14th -16th August at Canterbury and Northants can't play aswell.

Please note there is a potential scheduling issue around the forthcoming NatWest Blast T20 Quarter Finals which are due to be held between 12 and 15 August.

Current regulations state that the top four teams from each group will qualify for the quarter finals, with the team finishing first in each group playing a home tie against the team who finished fourth in the opposing group.

However, if Kent (who have finished top of South group) are scheduled to play Northants (if they finish 4th in North group) in the quarter-finals, the regulations will be amended as both teams face a scheduling clash.

Kent are due to host the Kia Women’s Ashes Test from 11-14 August and can therefore only host a quarter final on Saturday 15 August.

Northamptonshire meanwhile are playing Australia in a tour match from 14-16 August and could not therefore fulfil an away quarter at Canterbury at the same time on the 15th.

Therefore if this scenario applies, Kent will play the team finishing third in the North group and second in the South Group will play fourth in the North.

Please note, however, that this amendment to the current regulations will only apply if Northants qualify in fourth place in the Northern Group.

All counties have been made aware if this potential schedule change.

Glamorgan manage only 45/1 from their 5 overs. Wagg 6 in 15 balls, hit twice in the head and played out a maiden.

Sign him up.

Great to have a Hove Quarter Final

Excellent, much nicer getting hammered and losing at Hove, much more convenient to get home.

From the ECB The eight NatWest T20 Blast quarter-finalists have finally been confirmed after rain wreaked havoc with the final round of fixtures.

Essex Eagles were the final team to clinch qualification on a tense night in which only two games were possible.

Kent Spitfires and Birmingham Bears were the two teams to top their respective groups, which means the quarter-final fixtures are as follows:

NatWest T20 Blast quarter-finals:

Sussex Sharks v Northants Steelbacks, the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, August 12, 6.30pm

Birmingham Bears v Essex Eagles, Edgbaston, August 13, 6.30pm

Worcestershire Rapids v Hampshire, New Road, August 14, 5.30pm

Kent Spitfires v Lancashire Lightning, the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, August 15, 2.30pm
