Just had a quality one in Norwich, loooud thunder lots of rain and amazing lightning. All quitened down now just some flashing in the sky

We had one here yesterday evening, which is extremely unusual seeing as it is the middle of winter.
Yep, at one point the sheet lightning was permanent for 10 minutes straight; and the hailstones were the size of my thumbnail.

It was mad wasn't it. I heard some hail when I was in bed so I didn't see how big it was but I saw pics of hail in Cambridge.

You should try living in Devon where we never get any thunder and lightning, but more than our fair share of the unbearable mugginess. It must be 3 or 4 years since we had a half decent thunderstorm here!
