Confused. Ofcom have introduced new rates meaning that we will now get FREE 080 calls from our mobiles (about time). Also 0845 & 0870 will now be better explained WHAT?
I'm with EE home phone and get free 0845 & 0870 included in my package of calls but I think that because something is being given to us then something has to be taken away by the greedy telecom providers.
I'm being charged a 'service charge' by the receiving person, in the case of 0845 it's usually the bank, gov or similar. And it doesn't say how much this may be. A case of giving with one hand (free 080 calls from mobiles) and taking a hell of a lot more back with the other.
