For those unaware, the Scream movie franchise has inspired a TV series that is coming soon to MTV. Or at least in America. I assume it will also air in the UK at some point.
As a fan of the movies, I was unsure how it can work as a TV show. I liked Harper Island, which was a "half season" (13 ep) tv show version of a horror movie, so it can work, but being made by MTV kinda made me a little unsure.
They have released the first 8 minutes of the first episode in the build up to the show's première. It's a bit more bloody than I was expecting. Am not sure about the new mask, though.
