Well well well.

I just thought that before a game captains used to shake hands as a matter of courtesy. Little did I know that just as the Chinese invented football, the handshake (of peace) was something invented by Emperor Blatter and the Kingdom of Fifaland.

Now it appears the Nobel Peace Center (who obviously got convinced to get involved in this) are now pulling out because of the Emperor's little problems.

Can we blame FIFA also for "The Minute's Applause"? Always more rubbish and less dignified than The Minute's Silence - well, unless Gully joins in with beak bowed and solemn intent, that is. Still have mental scars from having been pressurised (unsuccessfully, I might add) into applauding Alan 'Dead' Ball at Withdean. WTF was that all about?
