I remember a tornado in Portslade in the early 60s. It destroyed the signal box at the station.

I saw a tornado on my birthday just north of the A27 near Angmering (where Dappers Lane passes under the road) - it was spinning into the fields.

When I was a kid one tore tiles off the rooves of houses where we lived in Old Rort Road on Shoreham Beach
