As ever, read it, or if you prefer, don't.

Everyone bar one, can now enjoy their holiday, before a return to pre-season training in around 3 weeks time. Not so Forster-Caskey, whose England U21 side are making final preparations for their European Championships campaign - starting this Thursday.

Whilst the nay-sayers amongst Albion's fanbase seek to belittle and deride Forster-Caskey's achievements with England, he is very much central to Southgate's plans. His detractors have moved on from "He won't make the squad", to "He won't make the final 23", and now to "He won't get a game". The squad numbers announced by Southgate today, suggest they are once again wrong.

If he were lifting the World Cup as England captain in Russia in whatever year it is, people on here would still be saying "he is rubbish!"

I cannot be bothered to trawl through the 1m + post about JFC, but I am sure somebody must of pointed out that

a) He's playing with better players than our first team.
b) He just might be more suited to the 'brand of football' being played under Southgate

Genuinely excited for him and hope he does himself and the club proud out there!
