There is no way potter will be (Paying huge fees) signing ANYONE over the age of 25.. This is a new era. we are NOT going to be stoke city.

This will be Glenn's last season to be sure..

Your right, in any case Tony Bloom refuses to pay over the odds for absolutely anyone. That rules out any major signings from Premier League clubs. The best value continues to be with signings brought in from Europe, and l think that's where most potential new players will come from.

According to Jnr yesterday the Albion bid £50m for a Rangers player.
Ajax offered £80m for Propper.
There's a £15m bid in for Groß.
No matter how many times I tell him to not believe t'internet he won't have it.

He's a f**king idiot.

I’d argue on current showing we’ve paid over the odds for several of our first team squad.

Not long before we find out if it was the players, the tactics or a combination of both. I’m reserving judgement.

By January we will have a clear indication if we made a slew of bad decisions in the market or we lacked the patience to let players adapt to a new team, country and league(and now hopefully more ambitious manager). Think it will be a mixed bag with some stepping up and others falling by the wayside. I can see the January window being the key to our success next season with players not making the grade going and replacements coming in. In a perfect world Andone, Locadia and Jahanbaksh will be our equivalent of The Liverpool frontline but as we all know it ain’t a perfect world.

.....or our tactics were a bit crap, or a combo of all 3 (probably the most likely answer)

So first things first lets own the ridiculousness of that statement.

Now that done let's move on from that, as I believe it's correct.

I don't know which Liverpool game I was watching but it was certainly late in the season, from March onwards.
It finally occurred to me:-

'we're supposed to be a low budget Liverpool'.
3 forwards pushing on with wing backs doing the heavy lifting.

For whatever reason and despite coming close CH just couldn't quite commit to that, after the change in formation he still couldn't look past Murray, nor could he leave the wings 'exposed'.

This to me is the nub of all the pro v anti, formation v players debate.

I don't believe all 3 players will flourish, but I also believe one will validate the upheaval and will improve another just by good fortune.

I've told him a hundred million times not to exaggerate!

The little chip off the old block f**kwit son of mine has doubled down:-

"I said we have offered £50m, I didn't say Rangers have accepted it"

Bless is little 'special' cotton socks.
