With all our hopes pinned on Deniz Undav for next season l can't see us signing a Premier League ready forward, unless the likes of Neal Maupay or Danny Welbeck should leave anyway.

im aware another signing is probably unlikely, but nobody's actually said we're pinning our hopes on undav, have they?

Not in so many words perhaps, but if it is additional firepower that we need, l think it will come from the Development squad.

Who?

Brighton have reportedly set their sights on Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe ahead of a potential summer move.

The 24-year-old has spent the second-half of this season in Italy with Napoli but has made only one Serie A appearance.

Tuanzebe has made 37 appearances for United, but has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular.

He has spent three separate loan spells with Aston Villa, including in the first half of this season and could be finally set for a permanent move away from Old Trafford.

According to Football Insider, Brighton are keen on a move for the defender with manager Graham Potter an admirer of Tuanzebe.

Man Utd could be willing to sell the defender this summer as incoming manager Erik Ten Hag begins his major squad overhaul.

The Seagulls are lost Ben White last summer to Arsenal but never brought in a replacement and Tuanzebe could be brought in as Brighton look to build on an impressive season.

Levi Colwill Chelsea youngster who’s been on loan at Huddersfield this season. Seems to fit our transfer policy more than Tuanzebe IMO like.

Phew. Thank god Tuanzebe isn't a left sided defender and replacement for Cucurella.

We didn't 'lose' White - and the idea that we should want to replace him with a 24 year old who hasn't broken through at OT, and whose loan spells have being distinctly less stellar than Ben White's? Doesn't look great............................ on paper at least.

Football Index aren’t reliable and think it’s a piece we can safely ignore. Tuanzebe has been terrible, struggled to get playing time at anywhere he’s been on loan and isn’t any better (or even equal) to players we already have coming through in that position such as Van Hecke, Ostigard (who Napoli reportedly want) and Clarke,

Yes, exactly - that was my opinion when I saw his 'CD'.

Until it’s on the Albion website, it’s ALL unreliable.
