Oh I know what the number was for, I was just being pedantic in pointing out that by trading blood for tea & coffee it isn't actually being given to you for free...plus, it bumped the thread of a very worthy cause, so it seemed worthwhile!

Must have been difficult for them when Lance Armstrong and the cyclists turned up. Well chuffed when they all donated, but a bit awkward the following week when they wanted it all back plus a bit of extra in it...
I used to work for a rather big blue-chip and I used to order tea and biscuits for my meetings. I was charged £25 a head for this. Some days I'd spunk a £1000 on tea and biscuits. Bonkers
