Sad news. The phrase "role of a lifetime" could have been coined for his in Oliver! - he is simply absolutely brilliant in it, it's one of the great film musical performances of all time.

Much as I dislike musicals and indeed 'Oliver!' I'd have to agree, he puts in a superb performance in it. RIP Ron.
