I've spent years sifting through stacks of his records in charity shops when looking for something I actually want to buy

Reading about him now he sounds to have had a stellar career. May buy one of his discs now. Thoughts are with his family and friends.

Strange thing, my dad used be a big big fan of his when l was growing up, and l always used to take the piss out of him because of it. Now l've reached my late 50's l've come to appreciate his music too.

Well they do say that you turn into your father!
