Not really comparable are they.

Warner is an odious prick who has stolen a bunch of money.

Kim Jong Un is responsible for the oppression of millions and the deaths of thousands. Let's not get confused about the importance of football and some misspent Coca Cola sponsorship money.

Well, that pretty much says it all.

The only real positive for Kim Jong Un is that he'd probably lose this sort of poll if he was against his dad, not that I can imagine that being the case for too long.

It's all relative. KJU was born into this North Korean Political System, although dysfunctional to us it is normal behaviour for him because it is the same way his father ruled before him.

On the other hand, Jack Warner took a global sport run benignly and has corrupted it beyond repair.

Out of interest, is JW more responsible for the corruption in FIFA than Sepp Tw@tter?

The evidence that has come to light seems to show that Warner has take a personal involvement in the corruption and has been very "hands on". It remains to be seem to what extent Blatter personally gained financially, it might have been the power he craved rather than the cash.

Even if Blatter wasn't profiting (ignoring the humungous salary he gave himself), the corruption in FIFA is blatantly obvious to everyone, and he has accepted that, which makes him at least as bad as anyone in my mind.

I can't disagree with that but, for me, selling your vote to the highest bidder as Warner did with Morocco, Egypt and South Africa is extremely despicable. There's no legacy from the South African World Cup, just a lot of empty stadia falling into disrepair through minimal usage. What they'll do with the stadia in Qatar God / Allah only knows.
