Just in the middle of watching the final episode. This has been a cracking series. Complex plot, visually stunning, rich characters, great acting.
Am I alone on NSC in thinking this?

Thought it was ok - but a very contrived ending. No match for Le Carre.

Yup, agree. Build up was good, intense stuff yet the denouement (as is often the case) fell away slightly.

Pretty solid entertainment though.

all of this
hope there might be some more?

Yep great performance by Michael Douglas, less convincing was Sean Penn as 'Connie' his troubled younger brother.

Daniel Schorr: [on TV] A staggering 57% of American workers believe there is a very real chance they will be unemployed in the next 5 to 7 years. But what does that matter to a bloated millionaire fat-cat like you Nicholas Van Orton?

It looks great, great acting but the script is so cliched it's painful, the whole thing is derivitive and When you get past the great sets, costume, actors etc you realise it's actually a bit boring.

It felt like Cox did this in his sleep.

I agree, Cox has had finer moments, Manhunter being the most memorable. The physics progs are OK but I prefer him in dramas.
