Behind Enemy Lines

I'm moving to east london, temporarily, but my insurance company " More Than" ( yeah, right) has refused to cover me for my car ( too high risk apparentyl) so i need a new insurance policy.
I'm only going to be there for a few months,perhaps only 2 or 3, can you get cover for that period or is it best to get new cover for a year which will then be adjusted after I move back to behind enemy lines in south London?
Insurers? Any advice?
