With P.A. on this...when the title said 'Old film...my first thought was around the 1920s...good find tho' Although I lived in Brighton at that time(1972) I was probably working on the Oil rigs then aged 33...believe me...the older you get the quicker it goes...enjoy the ride while you can.

I had a holiday job in the Imperial Hotel working in the kitchens. There was a very scruffy dirty Scottish chef who always used to cook with a fag in his mouth and many a time I saw the ash disappear into the stew/soup or whatever he was cooking at the time. Ahh - those halcyon pre- environmental health days!!!!!
