I'd imagine that the non-league players involved would disagree!

I agree that it's hardly a well known thing but to have the opportunity to pull on the international shirt, albeit at a low level, should be a realistic ambition for players across the spectrum. Or at least I think so!

I think there has always been an English 'amateur' side, I seem to recall it being recognised far more in the 70's.
