For many, this is the greatest show on earth.

Some though pay the ultimate price.

ITV4 are offering a very good coverage of this. Basically, from Monday for the next following couple of weeks, 9pm every day.

Give it a go.

I expect to be amazed, but more than that, I hope everyone is safe. A Guy Martin win will be celebrated massively even though it will possibly signal his retirement.

Yes, but Hutchy seems to be in good form too.

TT: Closer to the Edge is on ITV tonight at 11:25pm as well.

I am sure I have read somewhere that Guy has announced this years TT will be his last

Port e Chee isn't far from Bray Hill. You are virtually on Quarterbridge which is a good vantage spot but need to be at the pub early for a good viewing position. Alternatively you can walk down the road to Braddan Bridge and sit in the seated area of the Church. Both are great viewing spots but you cannot beat bottom of Bray Hill for your first view (for pure speed and bikes bottoming out on suspension)

My step daughter is out there as a marshal again.
Hopefully she won't have to deal with a death again.

Having watched Closer To The Edge last night, I have a question.

There's 600 & 1000cc bikes, maybe even one more.
But the lap record times are almost identical, less than 2 seconds in it.

So why race different bikes?

I just watched that clip at the top of the thread. I'd be shitting my pants watching the live coverage.
