When I saw the thread title I thought, 'what Benny from Grange Hill?' Can't believe I remember that. Always a favourite because of his love for football and being mates with Tucker.

RIP Benny.

Another childhood hero gone. Sad news. Highly talented artist too. They had joy, they had fun, they had brookdale on the run. RIP son. Thanks for the memories!

I opened the thread to say 10 years too late, only to find that it wasn't that Benny Green. Very sad particularly as my memories of him (as, I'm sure are everyone else's) as a young kid. Surprised to see he was 50.
