When was he 'our' GK then? U18s, U16s or what. The only goal keeping (in the loosest sense of the word) Smith that I can remember was that Scottish pillock, who I think somebody must have included in the team in order to win a bet about all Scottish GKs being useless.

Grant signed for us in August 2012. He had just completed his two-year scholarship at Fulham, who offered him another year, but he felt a move was best for his development. We signed him on a one-year deal and extended it at the end of the season.
He impressed in a loan spell at Bognor in 2013-14, but was released at the end of that season.
Oh, and we have a CURRENT goalkeeper called Smith - this one of the Josh variety.

Another Ian Wright and Roy Keane... Not good enough
I met him in a casino in Reading a couple of years back. Amazing night - my friend won 20k and was buying everyone drinks. Smith didn't touch a drop though . He said he was really proud to play for the albion, badly wanted to make it and said his dad was his inspiration.
I hope he gets another shot as he was a good guy ( but obviously not at palace).

Grant Smith, who spent last season at Bognor and was named the Supporters' Player of the Year, and who moved on to Boreham Wood in the summer, has just been named in the England C squad for a match in Estonia next month - Paul Fairclough has selected a 16-man squad for trip to Estonia in November
