Summer 2015 transfer window thread

The seasons barely finished but it looks like Championship teams are starting to get active in the transfer window.

As mentioned on the other thread, Jamie Ward (who we tried to sign last year) is joining Forest.

Jed Wallace, another player we've been linked with, is rumoured to be wanted by Fulham and Wolves.

Don't expect us to sign anyone in May or June.

Outside chance we may get someone in in July, but most will be last week of August, after already dropping points in the league.

Sadly there's a lot of truth in your post. Hopefully the club has learned from last year how vital it is to assemble a squad before the first game..

If its any consulation we are not mentionedon rumours site at all yet. The only championship is what El Pres has posted about Jed Wallace. and apparently Ross McCormack from Fulham to Wolves for 2 players and £2m

Is Ward joining Forest or just talking to them as he is not wanted by Derby?

If we arn't mentioned on that site yet it must mean that we are pretty close to actually signing someone.

All our potential targets are probably waiting to see if Middlesbrough will offer them something, so they can go there instead of joining us.

With the ambition(or lack of) of this club you could quite easily repost this every year and not be wrong.

Already looking at Lambert from Liverpool according to Sporting life.

It's a process of elimination, if they have all the strikers then no one can score against them, simple logic really.

What is Hughton's history with pre-season transfers. I hope he knows who he wants and insists they are brought in, and early!
Maybe I am naively positive that this will happen?
