Apparently 10,000 people in northern England have signed a petition to join Scotland.

A lot of the comments are just about being "run from Westminster". I really don't get this constant bloody whinging about being "run from Westminster". What difference does it make where you're run from? You still have an MP there. Everyone has an MP.
Would it make a difference if we moved Parliament to Manchester? I somehow doubt it.
