Seems a lifetime ago, we have gone backwards so fast

I was SO up for that night...

The team certainly had our full clacking that evening Tim. Amex stewards were handing out tissues in the away end because so many of the CPFC fans were drooling over the triple-tiered Premier League Ready West Stand that it was getting a bit wet underfoot down there.

I'm not sure anything I'll ever see in football again will come close to the disappointment of that night*.

*bar getting a text telling me that Palace had beaten Watford in the final

We all were, no one could have imagined we'd go that far backwards.

Aside from the obvious where did it all go wrong?

West...West.......WEST SUSSEX
I don't really look back on it as awful. Our players froze, Zaha (for pretty much the one and only time) played like a £15m player. That's it.
Yep we didn't turn up, Bridge had a rare bad game and Zaha played very very well. B******S.

All that said and done, if one of Barnes's early second half chances had been just a fraction lower.....

Yeah and as far as we know (and that is the problem) a manager who didn't get off his axxx once during that match so what really was the true situation 'behind' the scenes ?
