The music itself is not very good, you needed to induce chemicals to make it seem like it was good.

As an aside, is it just me that thinks the old-skool rave stuff sounds really slow when you listen to it today?

Awful advice killed Leah Betts, an incredible amount of water killed her.

The irony is that her tragedy set back our twisted drug laws by at least 20 years, while if drugs were legal and her friends were educated about them, she would still be alive today

As for the rave scene, it's still going strong, you're probably just too old to get invited :rave:

Are you involved in the rave scene then?

Gangs and violence that crept in because of the ability to sell drugs. Government deciding that it was an awful thing for the youth to be doing so they cracked down on it and introduced the criminal justice bill.

The drugs and music thing is a truism that doesn't really make sense. If you need both to enjoy the scene it really didn't matter as neither became unavailable . Its not like the drugs ran out and suddenly everyone said "hang on this music is actually not all that, lets do something else".
