Crossbar as well wasn't it, or did the chinless wonder fingertip it onto the crossbar? My view may have been obstructed by several clackers.

We haven't gone down with a whimper believe me. We've gone down because we haven't been good enough but we've been in every game apart from two (away at West Brom and Arsenal)
As for Ashley, of course he's not good enough for the Premier League, we all knew that before a ball was kicked but he's exceeded my expectations. I didn't think he would even get a sniff at playing this season.
The way he terrorised and bullied Mangala and Demichelis at the champions of England will stay in the memory for a long time.
Credit to Ashley Barnes, he's a trier and he's done us proud.
