On twitter, an account called Scouts in attendance claims that our scout Ian Pearce was at the Fulham vs Wigan game. He thinks we could be interested in James McClean and James Perch.

Both would be solid additions. Both have at least 12 months left on their contracts too and given Wigan still have parachute payments next season, would they be that desperate to sell? Also wasn't it around that time that the rumour linking us to signing Al Habsi started? Wouldn't be that surprising if one of our scouts were watching that game, following all have their contracts expiring this summer, all could certainly fill some gaps: Jermaine Pennant, Gaetan Bong, Bo-Kyung Kim, Marc-Antoine Fortuné, Konstantinos Stafylidis, Danny Guthrie, Bryan Ruiz and Hugo Rodallega.
