No issues using Tapatalk at the moment (not helpful I know but at least indicates the site itself is ok, probably?).

It's OK here, but there have been a few grumbles from others.

My mobile keeps automatically downloading william-hill.apk from NSC

Other people have said the same - again I've not experienced it myself. Sometimes rogue ads do creep into the Google network and this seems to be how they behave. They are very difficult to block from my end, as I don't know which ad(s) are doing it. Google tend to catch up with them and resolve it themselves.

Use the mobile version of NSC (link in the bottom left of every page) or use Tapatalk.

Far too many scripts on NSC these days, pretty much unusable on some devices.

I respectfully disagree.

seems to have improved a bit after a noticeably bad spell... did someone switch something off/on again?

I've done nuffin' mister, honest.

I wonder if it related to advert selection process or specific adverts it is trying serve to users based on their browsing history??

Either way, it is still running fine, for now.

It's definitely running a bit slowly every now and again and will almost certainly be related to a slow-rendering ad.

I'll try and do some proper diagnosis over the weekend and see what I can do.

I've noticed a weird thing recently that when I click the 'back' button, hoping to quickly return to the big board nothing happens. I some times have to press it twice for it to work. It's not me failing to click the button properly, it actually shows as if the page has been accessed twice in a row (I've even right clicked the back arrow to check, and on occasions the I'm on is showing up twice).

Firefox 37.0.2
Windows 8.1 laptop

I came back to edit the above post to add an image and a bit more info and things just went weird.

Firstly, I went to the Finnish keeper thread and was able to screen grab this:

nsc back error.jpg

Showing the list of pages on the back button, showing what I mean about repated pages.

The adds on this page were

Free Spins Casino (top of the page ad)
The Hunter Fan Company - Ceiling Fan Sale (ad at the bottom)

I then clicked the 'big board' link to take me back to the big board and got a plain screen with this download popping up:

nsc error 2.jpg

I clicked cancel and clicked my bookmark to come back to the big board and then clicked on this page, when I scrolled down a new tab opened on http://www.servicemasterclean.co.uk

I thought I might have accidentally clicked an add, except, the adds on the page were:

Free Spins Casino (top of the page ad)
The Hunter Fan Company - Ceiling Fan Sale (ad at the bottom)
(again)

Ok on Firefox!

I've been getting blacked out areas on the screen on all tabs with Firefox , so last night and up to an hour ago used Chrome but NSC keeps hanging and won't load the page whereas all the other tabs work fine. Gone back to Firefox hoping it wont be too long until a browser update cures the black screen issue.
