Murray, Cook, Elphick..

Were all of these decisions Poyets? Certainly deciding to spend £3 Million on CMS instead of giving Murray more money was Poyets mistake, but Cook and Elphick going and we have instead? There is much point in Bloom delivering a decent budget if we let three premier league footballers leave for next to nothing. Have the "football people" let Tony Bloom down?

Elphick & Cook weren't good enough to get in the team then. They've improved & we've got much, much worse is all.
& yep, Groundhog day...

It didnt show much foresight. What are we doing with a development squad when 2 local players leave and a season later they are a main part in getting another club promoted

It wasn't one season later, unless you are thinking of League 1.

We really need to sign some players soon, just to shut some people up. They've either not noticed the other billion threads or they're massively up their own arse that they think we need to read it AGAIN.

And who was responsible for letting Dean saunders go.........

Can we please stop living in the past and look forward to the future and another season in the Championship with the hope (not right) of promotion to the PL

When did they all leave? Murray is a different point, just someone thinking CMS was worth £3 Million and Murray not worth a pay rise instead.

2012. Cook was already at Bournemouth when he went through his two trials.

And who told Roy Keane he was too small and no thanks, we dont really think Ian Wright will be all that either. Yes BHA have a record second to none for shooting itself in the foot but Murray, Cook and Elphick are recent. We have a development squad, assembled for money, and we let Cook & Elphick go. It indicates that the"footballing people" failing, not Tony Bloom.

Eh, Elphick left in August 2012 and Cook January 2012, you do know its 2015 now do you.

Had Cook not been embroiled in a court case whose to say he wouldn't still be with us

Sorry, a couple of years out, and since then we have assembled a development squad for money whilst two local players get a club promoted to the Premier League. Lets hope these development squad players are as successful with us as these three (including Murray) who left have been for someone else

Ignoring of course Ulloa, Bridcutt and Ince, for example

Players are offered more money, & want regular football, so how do you make them stay?

I notice nobody is pining for El-Abd. You can't win them all. 3 players have found success elsewhere & there was no guarantee that they would have had the same success with us.
It happens at all clubs.

This is very true, the club does not have a good record of keeping hold of its talent, but I suspect this is the case at similar sized clubs. This doesn't make me any less pissed off though..........
