The support of our fans, both at the Amex and on the road this season has been outstanding"
Paul Barber

Ahead of Saturday's final away trip of the season, Brighton & Hove Albion chief executive has praised the club's "outstanding" support and as a token of thanks Seagulls fans travelling to Middlesbrough will receive a special food & drink voucher on entry to the stadium.Barber said, "The support of our fans, both at the Amex and on the road this season has been outstanding, and this is our way of saying thanks to our away fans who give so much to support the team across the country.
"We laid on some extra events last Saturday before and after the Watford match at the Amex to thank our brilliant home fans - and this is our way of saying thanks to our travelling fans as they make the longest trip of the season."

Albion supporters face a gruelling 630 mile round-trip for the 12.15pm kick-off as Chris Hughton’s men complete their final fixture of the 2014/15 season against Aitor Karanka’s men the Riverside Stadium.Barber added, "We are taking an impressive number of fans up to the north east for an end-of-season fixture despite the fact our safety has already been guaranteed, but it is even more impressive considering the early kick-off time and the length of the journey the vast majority of our fans will make.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to thank our loyal supporters who make these journeys regularly - we know it's been a tough season, and I can assure all our fans, Chris and the players appreciate the backing that they get home and away."
The voucher, worth £6, will be redeemable at the turnstile upon entry and can be used for food or drink at kiosks in the away end.
