Looking at this....How on earth did we avoid relegation?

Good to see our strikers filling their boots with 5 league goals between them all season

People don't want to hear it but our defending kept us up.

I'd say it was 3 even sh1tter football teams that kept us up.

Leon Best hasn't scored for 34 appearances.

I'm bang average at football, but I'm honestly convinced if I hovered around the 6 yard box for 34 games, i'd probably have scored.

I'd rather we spent every penny we have this summer on the front 3.

Our back five kept us up.

Oh but of course, they're a combination of the worst keeper to ever play for the club, several ageing no-hopers, an unhappy young talent desperate to secure a move to the premier league and a couple of money grabbing loanees.

What a useless bunch.

This. How anyone can claim our defending hasn't been just as pitiful as our attacking intent this season is beyond me. Silly mistakes, a left back who can't defend, an aging defence, conceding within minutes of scoring and a keeper who concedes more goals than he makes saves doesn't exactly paint a picture of our backline saving us from the drop. We have been woeful from back to front and the only reason we aren't going down is because there are three teams who are worse than us.

Here's some stats. You don't usually see a team finish 5th bottom, and have the 8th strongest defence.
