It won't be UKIP or the Trade Union and Socialist Coalition, nor the Monster Ravers. Beyond that I haven't made up my mind yet but the candidate I choose will have to convince me they are the best one for the constituency (and unlikely to expense his/her second home and nanny).

How did they get 100.1%? Rounding off I presume. What does the 63.1% for Labour mean? Is it from a Poll, money on, last election or what? I thought it was one of the key marginals. Please update me.

Out of our three seats Hove is probably the Banker for Labour!
If you went back to the 80's and said that people would have had you sectioned. just shows how demographics change.

LABOUR for me.

I quite like Peter Kyle, seems a down to earth, young (relatively speaking) candidate, local governor at 2 schools. Probably getting my vote.

Will be an absolute disaster if Labour wins in Hove.

Should be a Conservative, or even Lib Dem fight, with Labour lucky to hold on to their deposits.

Hove doesnt even have a lidl or aldi (ok portslade does) - so really there should be no easy pickings for the reds :D

2 postal votes gone in today for Labour from here. Mile Oak and Portslade have always been staunch Labour so it really won't be much of a surprise if Kyle wins.

We'll keep the Red flag flying high.

Well, up to 97 it had been a safe Tory seat from it's creation in 1950. It was a massive swing to Labour from their 24.5% showing in 92, to winning it with 44.6% in 97.
But Blair stood as a colour blind Tory.

If I were him I'd have been surprised to have won Macclesfield North.
