St George's Day, wouldn't happen in Germany

Huge celebrations here in Cáceres, makes Lewes bonfire look a bit tame! San Jorge is their patron saint.

Piping in the haggis if Ed Miliband gets in, apparently.

Really though, gathering Dandelions and making Dandelion wine.

Spend the day enjoying the satisfaction that you were born in the best nation on the planet.

Nothing else needed to beat that.

Ummm go to a country pub and sing English country folk songs and watch some Morris Dancers. Sing Jerusalem and have a curry. Use a dildo.

St George he was for England,
And before he killed the dragon
He drank a pint of English ale
Out of an English flagon.
For though he fast right readily
In hair-shirt or in mail,
It isn't safe to give him cakes
Unless you give him ale

Apparently he killed his dragon near Beirut and is very popular with Muslims as well as Christians and Jews. That will upset a few.

He is also very big in Russia I recall.
