Dale Stephens felt a moment of quality was the difference between the two sides on the night, as Brighton & Hove Albion were beaten 2-0 by Bournemouth last night.

Stephens felt that Albion were the superior side for a large part of the game, but admitted that the side’s lack of firepower is proving costly.

He told seagulls.co.uk, "It's disappointing as for 70 minutes of the game we were probably the better side, but they've got goalscorers in good form and they punished us in the end.

"We haven't got someone who can score 20 goals a season, but that's down to everyone and not just the strikers.

"Our midfielders had a couple of chances to score, so I'm disappointed that we couldn't find the net as we all need to chip in with goals."
