Top Dog Production films comedy pilot at the Dripping Pan.

One of Lewes FC’s passionate and loyal owners, Dave Lamb (the voice of TV's 'Come Dine With Me'), will be bringing his production company to the Dripping Pan on the 18 and 19 April to film the fifteen minute comedy, Half Time.

Dave plays Ben, an ex-BBC commentator who suffered a massive panic attack during a high profile FA Cup Final and is now trying to gently resurrect his career by heading up the online commentary for fictional non-league side Bromsfield Rovers FC.

Unfortunately he’s been paired with plain-speaking Bromsfield legend Geoff (played by Horrible Histories composer Richie Webb) whose partisan enthusiasm for his home side crashes all Ben’s carefully researched observations. Set during the half time switch around, it’s a comedy where in the press box it’s still all to play for.

Top Dog Productions will be filming during Lewes’ last game of the season clash with Leatherhead, so don’t be surprised if you witness the appearance of Bromsfield’s inept and depressed mascot who will reluctantly bust some moves in the centre circle during half time!

So, If you are aged 16 or over, would like to take part in a fun weekend and be an extra in a new comedy, you need to be available from 12.30-17.00 on Saturday 18 April to basically watch the match, and all day Sunday 19 from 8 am.

It’s unpaid but, Top Dog will pay for your ticket into the game and keep you fed and watered on Sunday!

There are just 20 places available, and it’s first come first served. Contact: topdogproductionstv@gmail.com with your name, age and contact details, and we’ll send you all the details!

Cheers,
