And there was i with an uncertain sense of receiving such news half-sure that the end had been met of Dorothy Stringer's rather odd PE teacher of the 80s and after. He seemed rather stricter of his pupils' showering habits than Mr Marchant or Mr Spiers did. But i recall an incredible tracksuit outfit or two, and one explosive flounce that had a set of us in hysterics.
