[Albion] Were we extremely fortunate that Wigan have been utter toss this season?

Did we just get lucky that Wigan were so poor this season?

One of the promotion favourites has been utter toss this season. If they'd half turned up, we'd currently be 2 points out of the danger zone, on a very poor run and with some very tricky fixtures ahead.

Did we just get lucky?

As lucky as we were in the season that Donny finished 15 points below us and just as lucky that it was only one relegated to the Conference that season !

Here's hoping we're not going to " do a Hereford " this season and get relegated on the last day of the season, we could be in freefall now

There is always one surprise on final day...it could well be us as we are utter tosh I can't see us getting another win ...perhaps a point against Huddersfield as they are disinterested after today's result against Ipswich.

If houghton is the messiah, he obviously is still heading skywYds, as no matter how many times people gloss over this suggesting it's all hyppias fault, his record is fecking abysmal.

Yep, but I fully expect them to beat us later this month.

We are in deep trouble.

I can see no points from the games vs Bournemouth, Watford or Middlesbrough.

I have a very bad feeling that Wigan will beat us.

So that leaves Huddersfield at home as a 'must win'.

Even winning that may not be enough.

No! Take a look on football stats http://www.footstats.co.uk/index.cfm?task=Leagues you will soon realise .There are plenty of teams with a lot less points than us (at this stage) over recent years.

We are sleepwalking towards relegation.

Too much complacency around.

We have a chance if we can get 3 points in the 'must win' vs Huddersfield, but even that may not be enough.

?

Milwall have to play derby, Watford and wolves.

Wigan have to play wolves and brentford.

So applying your logic of losing to the top teams we are safe.

Both Wigan and Millwall need to win a minimum of 4 games, Millwall have 6 games and Wigan have 5. Both have to play each other as well as teams at the top. That would be some feat by any of the two to suddenly win 4 games in a row and for us to get no points from 4 of our last 5 games. Please do tell me what games you expect Millwall and Witan to win of their remaining games.

100% no question. In fact anyone who says otherwise needs shooting.

It does happen ... we done it ourselves back in our halcyon days when we escaped relegation back to L2
