Gordon Greer is suspended but Lewis Dunk is ready to step in

First published in Albion by Andy Naylor, Chief sports reporter
Albion boss Chris Hughton is confident they can cope without captain Gordon Greer for the first time this year at Rotherham today.
Greer begins a two-match ban for ten bookings, which ends with Bournemouth’s visit on Friday.
Greg Halford and Lewis Dunk will be reunited in the centre of defence in the absence of the Scotland international.

Hughton kept faith with Nottingham Forest loanee Halford for Friday’s 1-0 home defeat by Norwich, despite Dunk being available after his own suspension for ten cautions.
Hughton told The Argus: “I thought Greg was good. He is very calm and collected and I kept him in the team because we were on the back of two clean sheets and he deserved that opportunity.
“Dunky is a very good player and the only plus with missing Gordon is that Dunky is now back and available.”
Halford and Dunk helped Albion to a win and two draws partnering each other in four of the last six matches of 2014, missed by Greer to rest a knee injury.
