Albion host Norwich on Good Friday

Norwich City are our visitors to the Amex this Easter Friday as Brighton & Hove Albion look to continue the good home form of 2015, as well as put a halt to Canaries’ automatic promotion push.Norwich have lost just twice in the Championship in 2015 and only once on the road since the sides last met back in November’s 3-3 draw at Carrow Road.
With a Friday kick-off of 3pm, concourses will open at 1.30pm. Dick’s Bar will open at the usual time of 11.30am and the Seven Stars at midday, serving a large selection of food and drinks.
Travel Update
Albion’s official travel partner Seagull Travel collect from over 120 pick-up locations covering East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Seats can be booked via stagedoortickets.co.uk/SeagullTravel or by calling 0845 9011 442.
Southern Rail will be running a usual matchday service for the match and for more information on travelling to the Amex check out our travel guide.
Fan Zone
Our ever-popular Fan Zone will feature football skills sessions for youngsters run by Albion in the Community. In the family concourse of the East stand we have the Potty the Pirate Magic Show and face-painting for the younger Seagulls fans.
Last week the club agreed a new licence which will see a significant change to the area, for the majority of matches, with alcohol available to be purchased at the mobile kiosk and consumed throughout the external concourse, allowing fans to walk freely with their drinks.
Alcohol will be served up until 45 minutes before kick-off, though fans should note that all drinks must be consumed before they are brought into the stadium.
Post-match there will be no alcohol served outside, however fans will be able to leave the stadium with their drinks purchased inside, providing that all drinks are consumed prior to reaching the coach park steps, T-junction or station approach.
We ask all fans to drink responsibly and work with us to meet our licensing conditions and make this area a success.
Food & Drink Offering
This month our guest pie is Chicken Balti and guest ale is Greene King’s Down the Dragon. Look out for the specials upon arrival at the Amex.
Before Kick-Off
Join the rest of the local community in congratulating Albion’s Women’s team in their success in winning the Sussex Challenge Cup. The team will parade the trophy before kick-off and manager James Marr will join Richard Reynolds to discuss the team’s success this season.
