Casper Ankergren could understudy Albion No.1 David Stockdale for the second time in three games at Millwall tomorrow night.
Christian Walton, Stockdale's regular deputy this season, plays for the under-21s against Newcastle at the Amex this evening (7pm).
Ankergren was on the bench for the first time since November at Reading last week after England under-20s prospect Walton played for the under-21s the night before.
The 35-year-old Dane, out of contract in the summer, made the last of his 76 appearances in five seasons for Albion at Swindon in the Capital One Cup in August.
Tonight's clash against Newcastle is Simon Rusk's first as Albion's permanent under-21s coach following his promotion from the under-18s.
Five players still eligible for the under-18s feature in a young squad.
Chief executive Paul Barber said: "The other benefit of us to moving him (Rusk) up is that some of the lads who have been with him at under-18 level are now progressing into that group, so there is continuity of coaching for some of the better under-18s that will now be younger under-21s."
Rusk's under-18s replacement is likely to be appointed by next week.
Albion: Walton; Barry, Hunt, Collar, White, Pappoe, Davis, Harris, Deen, Tilley, Starkey. Subs Muitt, Doherty, Tighe, Wiltshire, Barnett.
