Can you just clarify something for me, please.

I believe you have to pay Mr X Box money if you want to play on-line.

Does that extend to watching TV through the device?

I realise I'd need to pay £3.99 a month for Eurosport, I'm just unsure of whether there are any other charges to Microsoft.

Not anymore.

You used to have to be a gold (paying) member to stream any video, but that ended around the time they introduced the x-box one.
