When you take the lead at the time of the game that we did, I thought that it was going to be our day. "
Chris Hughton

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton felt a draw was a fair result, as his side held play-off chasing Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-1 draw.

Bruno opened the scoring for Albion, before Rajiv van La Parra levelled the scores with a freak goal in a hard-fought game at the Amex today.Hughton told seagulls.co.uk, "It was a very tough game, a competitive game, but when you take the lead at the time of the game that we did, I thought that it was going to be our day.
*
"It is not the first time that we have conceded so soon after scoring, but we did all that we could have during the build up to their goal; we kept our shape and the goal was a little bit fortuitous.
"It was a cross from the lad, as opposed to a shot, so that was disappointing - but they also had other chances and David Stockdale has made three really good saves.
*
"He will be disappointed with the goal, but he can be delighted with the saves that he has made, particularly the one in the first half and the one in stoppage time.
"That is the lot of a goalkeeper. There are ups and downs and you have to make sure is that you bounce back from any down periods in a game, and he made a really good save after we had conceded the goal."

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

The Seagulls have a gap of seven points on third-from-bottom Wigan, who beat Bolton today, and face second-from-bottom Millwall on Tuesday night, who are nine points adrift of Albion."All the games seem to be massive at this stage of the season. There are nine games to go and you are always looking at the teams below.
"It's very tight. We are only three points away from climbing three places in the table. It's a big game, simply because it is against a team that is below us at the moment."
Albion will be without Lewis Dunk for the trip to Millwall and Saturday's game at Blackburn Rovers, after he collected his tenth yellow card of the season.
Dunk's defensive partner, skipper Gordon Greer, was also booked, leaving him on nine cautions; he will face a similar suspension if he receives a tenth booking prior to the 12th April Football League deadline.
