Kuszczak claims in an interview inside today’s Argus that he was treated unfairly by Albion because they never informed him of their plans. The club accept he was left in limbo during the managerial change without any notification.

Stockdale, bought from Fulham largely because of his superior distribution skills, was ironically culpable for Reading’s first goal in Albion’s 2-1 defeat on Tuesday with a pass out from the back which caught team-mate Rohan Ince unawares.
