Tomasz Kuszczak was kicked out of Albion over concerns about his ability with his feet.
Former managers Oscar Garcia and Sami Hyypia did not want to retain him due to concerns about his distribution skills.
Kuszczak, back at the Amex tomorrow with Wolves, was released in the summer by Albion after helping them to the Championship play-offs in successive seasons.

The 32-year-old Pole made the last of his 89 appearances for the club in the 4-1 defeat in the second leg of the play-offs at Derby in May. Club sources have revealed the departing Oscar wanted a goalkeeper more accomplished with the ball at his feet to suit Albion’s style of playing out from the back.
Hyypia had the option of awarding Kuszczak a new deal but declined for the same reason. Kuszczak claims in an interview inside today’s Argus that he was treated unfairly by Albion because they never informed him of their plans. The club accept he was left in limbo during the managerial change without any notification.
Kuszczak collides with his successor as Albion No.1, David Stockdale, at the Amex tomorrow.
Stockdale, bought from Fulham largely because of his superior distribution skills, was ironically culpable for Reading’s first goal in Albion’s 2-1 defeat on Tuesday with a pass out from the back which caught team-mate Rohan Ince unawares.
