I find them cringey, whilst I don't want a violent atmosphere I don't want a clappy happy "Aren't you a bunch of nice supporters". Tension breeds atmosphere and atmosphere adds to the experience.

I can sort of understand them for younger fans for something like a cup final as a memory of the day, but other than that, no point in them.

as proud owner of a half and half scarf as a momento of the BHA v Cheaterfield title clash, i can see they are justified for such games in our history. there's nothing happy clappy about having them as a memorabilia.

They are OK for kids' souvenirs surely, but yes they have to grow out of it

I have noticed people still wearing 50/50 scarves at the last home game, why?.
I can understand wearing them for the actual event they were made for, but surely after that, they are redundant and for hanging on walls.

To be honest IF the Albion ever played a competitive game in Europe (and itll be some side from Albania or something) then I probably would as a souvenir.
