Just back from Tenerife where it didn't get below 26 all week and bright sun every day

Most of the island is "pretty ordinary" but get round to around the Los Gigantes area for decent accom and good range of bars/restaurants without the full on "Brits on tour" experience

Not going for the sun, but we are off too San Francisco and doing a little road trip for nearly two weeks taking in Santa Cruz, Yosemite, and the Big Sur..... Can't wait.

I did a loop like that a while back. I started in Vegas (where I was working) drove through Death Valley to Yosemite, then across to San Fran, back down the coast to LA. Amazing.

I bet the costa del sol will be nice and warm. Just booked flights in and out of Gibraltar. Last year it was 26-30c all week!

Holguin, Cuba is 31 or 32 all this week & half the price of Rest of top Caribbean as there is no Yankee dollar to push prices up.

Off to Valencia on Sunday. Sunny and temperatures in the 60's. Should be even nicer in April and a fantastic city to visit.
