Rotherham have extended Crystal Palace defender Zeki Fryers' loan spell.
Fryers joined*the Sky Bet Championship club in January on a month-long deal which expired after Tuesday's 3-3 draw with Derby.
But boss Steve Evans has retained the 22-year-old’s services and he was available to make his seventh appearance for the club in Saturday's game at Wolves.
Evans said: "We are very grateful to Alan Pardew down at Crystal Palace for their help, both financially and how quickly they have extended it.
"We have seen him get better with every game he has played apart from at Blackburn, but seven or eight were off that day.
"We have found that every game he has got a little bit better, a little bit better. He is a gifted boy, his biggest asset is his frightening pace and his strength and power. He is still adapting to how we play, which is quite unique for him.
"Zeki informed us very early that he was keen to stay."
Meanwhile, Evans has confirmed Rotherham had a fresh bid for former loanee Emmanuel Ledesma rejected by Middlesbrough last week.
The Argentine, who made seven appearances for the Millers in the back end of 2014, has since joined relegation rivals Brighton on loan.
"We made a written cash offer for Manu in January but we didn't want to meet Middlesbrough's valuation," Evans said.
"A loan deal wasn't available to us for some reason. There's no point me getting involved in understanding people's business, perhaps Brighton have done a deal where there is a substantial loan fee. I don't know.
"We made an offer to sign him on a permanent basis, it was refused, we made an offer to sign him on a loan basis, it was refused, so we have to respect it.
"They are good people up at Middlesbrough. They have obviously made a decision based on what's best for them."
