Paddy McCourt has probably kicked his last ball for Albion.
The Northern Ireland international playmaker has joined League One side Notts County on loan for the rest of the season.
The Seagulls have the option to recall him after the first 28 days but McCourt, out of contract in the summer, has not featured much since joining on a free transfer from Barnsley in the summer.
He made the last of his 13 appearances against Reading on Boxing Day, shortly before Chris Hughton was appointed manager.

Hughton said: "Paddy has been an excellent professional in my time here and before I joined, but unfortunately he hasn't been able to get the minutes on the pitch he would have wanted.
"So we wanted to get him some games and this loan to Notts County gives him the opportunity to go and play some regular first team football."
The Argus revealed earlier this month that McCourt, who has not started a game for Albion in the Championship, was in Asia during the transfer window trying to sort out his future.
He is the third of the Seagulls' summer signings to leave the club. Adrian Colunga has returned to Spain on loan to Granada with a view to the move becoming permanent and Nzuzi Toko cancelled his contract by mutual consent to revive his career in Turkey after one brief substitute appearance for the first team.
