Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has tonight confirmed Emmanuel Ledesma will join Albion on loan.
Speaking after tonight’s 1-1 draw at Birmingham which sent Boro top of the Championship, Karanka revealed the winger will be allowed to leave the Riverside Stadium and link up with the Seagulls.
Last month Karanka said Ledesma was to stay on Teesside and see out his contract, which expires this summer, but that is no longer the case.

“For Manu to be here when he finishes his contract in the summer would not be fair as he needs to play. I hope he plays well for Brighton because he deserves all the best.”
The 26-year-old Argentine had a successful loan spell with Rotherham this season, scoring once in seven appearances.
